THE OPEN FIVE WEEKS | FEB. 22 - MARCH 26

The Open is the first stage of the CrossFit Games season and the largest community event of the year. Every year, hundreds of thousands of athletes come together to compete in the worldwide, online competition.

Anyone aged 14 or older can compete in the Open. There are age categories that fairly separate athletes according to chronological age and also scaled or RX'd prescribed workout. This option makes the all-inclusive event even more accessible to the masses.  So even if you don't have your first official pull-up, or aren't able to life the prescribed weight yet, or if you are rehab'ing back from an injury, you can still participate for the fun and the spirit of the games.

At the end of five weeks, the fittest move on to the next stages of competition called "Regionals", then to the "CrossFit Games" world championships.
